I made my first bag more than 36 years ago in Merrickville, Ontario, a small town where craftsmanship has long been part of everyday life.
It was my grandmother who taught me everything I know. The leather would be spread across the workbench, and she would watch every movement I made.
Never rush. Never skip a step. And never let anything leave your workshop that you wouldn’t be proud to carry yourself.
I’ve held on to those words my entire life. Through every bag, every stitch, and every late evening when the light outside had long since faded.
